Elevating Dorm Living

The problem: This year, $7.2 billion will be spent on campus appliances and furniture. Sadly, for both the environment and students’ wallets, dorm room furniture and accessories are used for only 1.2 years on average. The need to disrupt the normal buy-and-toss cycle that plagues college dumpsters is obvious. The solution: Captain Rentals.

Let’s face it, college life brings enough stress as it is. We’ve known that ever since our founder attended college. By renting, you sidestep the burdens of long-term commitments and financial strains associated with buying. We take the logistical nightmare out of your hands and return move-in day to a day of precious last moments spent with loved ones, instead of transporting, unpacking, and arranging bulky furniture in cramped spaces.

Jordan S.

"Being an out-of-state student, you have to choose carefully what items you are going to take with you to school. Not having to pack a minifridge in my parents' car allowed me to bring more clothes!"

Susie S.

"I've sent 2 sons off to college already, and when it came time to send my youngest off to school, I was dreading the thought of 4 more years of move-ins and move-outs. It was such a relief to find you all to take care of the heavy lifting for me! I can't thank you guys enough!"

Robert P.

"The premium mattress upgrade transformed my sleep quality, and the free pickup at the end of the year saved me valuable time during finals. Highly recommend!"
